The 5th annual NOAA Hurricane Preparedness and Readiness Summit is made possible through the partnership with NOAA's Office of Response and Restoration (OR&R), Disaster Preparedness Program (DPP) and the Gulf of Mexico Disaster Response Center in cooperation with the Coastal Response Research Center. 2024 Objectives

     1) Identify innovative solutions, strategies, and lessons learned that address challenges identified in previous hurricane seasons.  

     2) Fortify NOAA’s capacity across Personnel, Mission, and Infrastructure (PMI) to support hurricane preparedness, response, and recovery. 

     3) Facilitate effective hurricane preparedness and response through improved coordination across NOAA and with our federal, state, local, territorial, and tribal partners.
