This Submerged Oil Working Group was a direct outcome of this 2006 workshop and continues to meet annually in order to collaborate on proposed research regarding submerged oil.

Since 2002, the Coastal Response Research Center (CRRC) has hosted several topical working groups, one of which is the Submerged / Sunken Oil Working Group (https://crrc.unh.edu/working-groups). Typically, we took the opportunity to meet together in person at a conference, such as Clean Gulf or IOSC, to discuss latest advances and current research. CRRC will no longer host an in-person event but are eager to continue meeting virtually on an annual basis. This is your invitation to join us and participate in these ongoing discussions. Please share this with others who may be interested. This meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 25 at 1:00 pm ET.
