The 6th annual NOAA Hurricane Preparedness and Readiness Summit is made possible through the partnership with NOAA's Office of Response and Restoration (OR&R), Disaster Preparedness Program (DPP) and the Disaster Response Center in cooperation with the Coastal Response Research Center.

2025 Summit Objectives

  • Identify innovative technologies, solutions and strategies for improvement, including those that address challenges identified in previous hurricane seasons.  
  • Fortify NOAA’s capacity across Personnel, Mission, and Infrastructure (PMI) to support hurricane preparedness, response, and recovery.
  • Facilitate effective hurricane preparedness, response and recovery through improved coordination across NOAA and with our partners.
