Greater Houston Area Bottlenose Dolphin Data Gaps

Tuesday, February 15, 2022 to Thursday, February 17, 2022
A Virtual Event

NOAA's Assessment and Restoration Division (ARD) in partnership with the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Office of Protected Resources (OPR) and Southeast Regional Office's Protected Resources Division (PRD) to address critical data needs around bottlenose dolphin population, distribution, and health in the Greater Houston area, that would support future NRDA activities in the region. This workshop is a first step to identify priority data needs to pursue for future funding opportunities. The expected outcome is to outline a prioritized research proposal to address these critical data gaps.
